【 Country Name 】 The Republic of Benin (La Republique du Benin).

【 Area 】 112,622 square kilometers.

Population: 14.4627 million (2024). There are over 60 ethnic groups in total, mainly including the Fong, Aja, Yoruba, Paliba, Otamari, Por, etc. The official language is French. The languages that are widely used throughout the country are Feng, Yoruba and Paliba. Among the residents, Christians account for approximately 53% (of which 25.5% are Catholics), and Muslims make up about 24%. The traditional religion is mainly Voodoo, accounting for about 18%.
